Bank Of The West Sets Sights On Indian Wells With New Office

has descended upon Indian Wells, CA, with full force this week as it opens a new wealth management and banking centre in the area, coinciding with the start of the BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament. The center, based in the will have its grand opening to clients on Friday March 13, the bank said in a press release yesterday. The wealth management offering for clients at the centre will include banking, lending, investment and trust services. "As our clients' wealth management needs are growing more complex, we feel it is important to continue to invest in how we serve them. We believe that the new center is a demonstrable example in providing convenience and personalized service that our clients have come to expect from us," said John Bahnken, senior executive vice president of the wealth management group. The center further cements Bank of the West's position within the California market, with offices already in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Walnut Creek, Newport Beach, Los Angeles, Beverley Hills and Pasadena. The firm is a subsidiary of BNP Paribas, which is sponsoring the Indian Wells Masters tennis tournament from March 9 – 22, a stone's throw from the new office. French-headquartered BNP Paribas's global wealth management business has over $10 billion in assets under management in the US.
